Privacy policy

The short version: we set no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies, we collect only what the features you use require, we never sell data, and everything we store has a retention period listed below.

1. What we collect

Newsletter email. When you subscribe to the AI Search Brief or unlock a tool report, we store your email address and which page you subscribed from. Kept until you unsubscribe.

AI visibility checker inputs. The brand name, category, and optional website you enter, plus the generated report, are stored for up to 90 days so repeat checks load instantly. Reports are not linked to your identity unless you unlock one with your email.

Keyword searches. Seed keywords you look up are cached for 24 hours so repeated searches are fast. They are not linked to you.

IP addresses. We use your IP address to enforce rate limits on the free tools. Rate-limit counters are kept for up to 48 hours. Our hosting infrastructure also keeps standard, short-lived server logs.

2. What we do not collect or store

Text you paste into the prompt optimizer and the AI content checker is processed to generate your result and is not saved to our database. We set no advertising cookies, run no third-party ad trackers, and do not sell or rent any data to anyone.

3. Third parties that process data

OpenAI. Inputs to the LLM-powered free tools (visibility checker queries, prompts, texts to check) are sent to OpenAI's API to generate results, subject to OpenAI's API data policies.

Google. Tool logos on the site load from Google's favicon service, so your browser makes a request to Google when pages with logos render.

Hosting. The site runs on standard cloud infrastructure that processes requests, including IP addresses, to serve pages.

4. How we use data

To operate the tools you use, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to prevent abuse of the free tools. Nothing else.

5. Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. To have your email or any report deleted, write to hello@aiseodex.com and we will remove it promptly.

6. Security

Data is stored in access-controlled databases and transmitted over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold small on purpose, which is the best security measure available.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be noted in the newsletter.
